Uniform

Belmont requires all students to wear the school uniform, which remains the same all year round.  The list below details the items that are required, and those that are optional.

Universal Uniform are stocking both Belmont branded purple sweatshirts/cardigans/PE hoodies for primary, and plain black jumpers and hoodies for secondary.

You are welcome to visit the shop during their opening hours, where you can try on the uniform, or order online for collection or mail order.

The school office also has some uniform in stock, and you can currently still order by using the forms below, and paying via your ParentPay account. Please note, we are unable to take cash.

Other uniform is easily obtainable from clothing shops and supermarkets.

The Belmont F@B team also has a stock of good quality pre-loved uniform available – please email F@B with your requirements.

Primary & Junior

Up to and including Year 6

• Belmont School purple sweatshirt
• White polo shirt
• Dark trousers or skirt (grey or black) NOT denim jeans

PE/Games Kit

• White games polo shirt
• Belmont School black shorts
• (Optional) Belmont School purple hooded sweatshirt
• Trainers

Secondary

Years 7 to 11

• Plain black v-neck jumper (non-branded)
• White polo shirt
• Dark trousers or skirt (grey, black or navy) NOT denim jeans

PE/Games Kit

• White games polo shirt
• Belmont School black shorts
• (Optional) plain black hooded sweatshirt (non-branded)
• Trainers

ALL PUPILS

• Outer garment – rainproof coat for wet or cold weather
• Footwear – sensible shoes (black, if possible) NO trainers except for PE
• Water bottle
• Children who go horse-riding/take part in Forest School activities need to bring Wellington boots
• For swimming lesson children require a one-piece swimming costume and a towel.
• Make-up including nail varnish should NOT be worn
• Inappropriate hairstyles (e.g .tramlines/Mohican cuts) or hair colours are not permitted in school.
• Jewellery is limited to a wristwatch and a pair of small sleeper studs (1 in each ear).
• Facial piercings are not permitted.

Exceptions to these rules for cultural reasons should be discussed with the Headteacher.

N.B.  All clothing must be clearly named.
